A Dew Year’s Wish (Poem)

Days that are gone by like tender falling leaves,
Time’s harvest gathered in golden sheaves,
This is what I wish you.
Days that are here filled full with joy and love,
Peace and goodwill, and blessings from above,
This is what I wish you.
Days still to come be long and fair and bright,
A noontide glory softening into night,
This is what I wish you.
