Our Groups and Their Work

North London Group—On Saturday, July 21st, a small party of members and friends met at Elstree. After a delightful ramble in the neighborhood, and a picnic on the hillside, a pleasant interchange of thought on a variety of subjects filled in the remainder of the evening.—Harry J. Stone, Hon. James Allen

James Allen was a little-known philosophical writer and poet. He is best recognized for his book, As a Man Thinketh. Allen wrote about complex subjects such as faith, destiny, love, patience, and religion but had the unique ability of explaining these subjects clearly and in a way that is easy to understand.
