If You Would Win (Poem)

If you would win from life
The good it holds for you,
You must reach out and firmly cling
To what you know is true.
If you would help to make
The world a bit more bright,
Just try and clear some wrong away,
And introduce the right.
And if you see in life
A hope some heart to cheer,
Be not afraid to speak it out,
You know not who may hear.
