Seek Earnestly (Poem)

Seek earnestly the good and true,
Don't be content with dreaming;
Be not deceived, you have your due,
In spite of worldly seeming.

If worldly things do not succeed
As you have been expecting,
It may be that your spirit's need
Demanded such rejecting.

No need to climb to worldly fame
To find the good around you;
You may have but a humble name,
Yet true things may surround you.
