Interrogative (Poem)

What is the gift of speech without a noble mind?
Where is the grandeur of power if we have not learned to be kind?
What is the good of giving just for the sake of show?
And is there strength in saying "Yes" because we're afraid to say "No?"

Self-conquest is the greatest of victories.
—Plato
