The "Light of Reason" Gatherings

Meetings of the North London Group are being held, through the kindness of Mrs. Walker, at her home, "Holbein," Torrington Park, North Finchley. On November 7th Mr. E. Willmore gave an address on "The Kingdom of Heaven." Readers wishing to join should apply to the Secretary, Mr. Sydney Rist, 39, Mildenhall Road, Clapton.

Meetings of the West London Group are being held at Mrs. Worley's, and Mr. L. A. Colborne, 31, Holford, Square, W. C., has kindly undertaken the secretarial duties.

The first meeting of the Birmingham Group took place on October 20th, and meetings are being held monthly. Those wishing to join should write to the Editor.

A Group is formed in Liverpool and Birkenhead district.

James Allen

James Allen was a little-known philosophical writer and poet. He is best recognized for his book, As a Man Thinketh. Allen wrote about complex subjects such as faith, destiny, love, patience, and religion but had the unique ability of explaining these subjects clearly and in a way that is easy to understand.
